Ivan Lopes

I am a third year PhD student at INRIA Paris in Astra, directed by Raoul de Charette. My research interests are on material estimation for rendering and computer graphics. I received a MSc degree from Telecom SudParis. Previously, I did an exchange program at Telecom Paris and Linköping University.

Publications

Material Transforms from Disentangled NeRF Representations

Preprint (arXiv), 2024

A method to transfer material transformations across scenes. Building on disentangled NeRF representations, our approach learns to map Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Functions (BRDF) from pairs of scenes observed in varying conditions.

Material Palette: Extraction of Materials from a Single Image

Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), 2024

Material Palette extracts a palette of PBR materials (albedo, normals, and roughness) from a single real-world image using diffusion priors.

DenseMTL: Cross-task Attention Mechanism for Dense Multi-task Learning

Conference on Applications of Computer Vision (WACV), 2023

This work proposes an architecture to perform multi-task learning by combining information from different tasks using correlation-guided and self-attention mechanisms.

Projects

Snabbare: Singleplayer car racing game in C

Hugo Caroubalos, Ivan Lopes
Course project for TSBK07 at Linköping University, 2020

End of course computer graphics project, coded in C and GLSL.

Codegraph: Node-based programming editor

Ivan Lopes
Personal project, 2020

Proof of concept project for a node-based editor to create code with a visual interface.

Academic services: ECCV (2024), SIGGRAPH Asia (2024).
